If you, your church or organizations would like to host a training seminar about ministering to the terminally ill or caregiving, be sure to use the contact form and indicate your location, phone number and the date of interest. Because the author believes the seminar benefits every person who will minister to the terminally ill, the seminar is provided free. The full seminar runs with a check-in at 8:15 a.m., begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.  Arrangements can be made for shorter presentations on a variety of topics.
Most seminar attendees heed the recommendation to purchase their training manual to read  prior to the seminar. The Community Bible Church bookstore sells the training manual for $22. San Antonio residents can let us know you if prefer to meet and purchase a manual from the author. Simply let us know on the contact form.
When a date is set, we will put the name of the organization, a map, the location and phone number on our website.
We'll ask those interested to come join attendees who will laugh, learn and share together. There is no charge for the course. We recommend you read the manual in advance, however you may purchase the ministry manual the day of the seminar. You may obtain the book in the CBC bookstore or use the contact form to arrange to meet with the author for the purchase.
For lunch your organization may supply lunch, attendees may bring their own lunch, or we can make arrangements to have lunch delivered for a fee.  You will need to either bring your own lunch, or bring $7 to order a boxed lunch from Jason's Deli. They offer white or wheat bread with ham or turkey. It includes chips, a pickle and a cookie. You may wish to bring your own water to drink during the day.
What should attendees bring? Please bring a teachable spirit, a loving and open heart, a clear mind, a willingness to participate, a good attitude, your Bible, a pen or pencil, bottled water, money to order your lunch, and an optional sweater or jacket for comfort. Don't forget to bring your pre-read ministry manual.
As always, if you have a question or would like information, just use the contact form and a response will come shortly. A confirmation e-mail will be sent upon receipt. You will be notified if the class is full and asked if you wish to be placed on a waiting list.
